2018 Stillwater Minnesota Select Lacrosse Club Team/Summer Training Program

  • Tuesday and Thursday morning lacrosse training  - June 19- July 31**, 7:30 – 9:00 a.m.
  • East Side Wednesday Night 5 vs. 5 Lacrosse League/Training – June 20 – July 25**, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. 

 

2018 Summer Tournament Schedule

  • 2018 Blue Ox Invitational (U15/14 Team) June 23-24, Washington County Fairgrounds, Stillwater
  • 2018 IWLCA Midwest Cup (U19 Team – 2019, 2020, 2021 graduation years) July 13 -15, Rockford, IL
  • 2018 Minnesota STX Shootout (U15/14 and U19 Teams) July 20-22, Stillwater Area High School

Team Information 

  • The Stillwater Minnesota Select Lacrosse Club Team is local summer girls’ lacrosse training program was established in 2011. The Stillwater Select Lacrosse Club Team provides an optional, convenient and affordable local club team experience for Stillwater area lacrosse players. Team membership will provide high level training and exposure to college coaches by participating local and national college recruiting tournaments. 
  • The 2018 SMS U19 Tournament Team is made up of Stillwater area players who graduate in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. The team is primarily made up of returning high school team members who played for the 2018 Stillwater High School Team. 2022 players are not eligible for the Midwest Cup.
  • 2018 SMS U15/14 Tournament Team members are in 7th-9th grade during the 2017-2018 school year. 

 

Advantages of Stillwater Minnesota Select Lacrosse Club Team membership:

  • The U19 team members will travel to Rockford, Illinois to compete in the Midwest Cup.
  • Local tournament play. U19 and U15/14 team members will compete in the Minnesota STX Shootout at Stillwater Area High School. U15/14 team members will compete in Blue OX Invitational held in Stillwater.
  • Practice close to home.  All training sessions will be held at Stillwater Area High School.
  • Play summer lacrosse close to home. Team members will play in the East Side Wednesday night 5 v 5 League at Stillwater Area High School.
  • Participating in summer lacrosse training and tournament play with your high school teammates is proven to improve your high school team.
  • Significantly lower cost than traditional regional club teams. The lower cost summer only concept is ideal for multisport athletes who participate in fall and/or winter sport.
  • Option fall and winter training opportunities.

 

 

How to Register for the Stillwater Minnesota Select Lacrosse Club Team

    • $220.00 fee includes 16 training sessions held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and Wednesday evenings. A $110 deposit due at time of registration with balance due June 1.
    • Players must be registered in 2018 Stillwater Minnesota Select Lacrosse Club Team Summer Training Program to register for any of the summer tournaments.

    • 2018 Blue Ox Invitational (U15/14 Team) June 23-24

      • $150.00 fee includes tournament entrance fees and tournament coaching.
      • $70.00 deposit due at time of registration with the balance due June 1.

      • $750.00 fee includes transportation, lodging, tournament entrance fees, tournament coaching, chaperones, breakfast at hotel, and team dinners on Friday and Saturday. 
      • $350.00 deposit due at time of registration with the balance due June 15.  
    • 2018 Minnesota STX Shootout (U15/14 and U19 Teams) July 20-22

      • $190.00 fee includes tournament entrance fees and tournament coaching.
      • $90.00 deposit due at time of registration with the balance due June 15.

 

  • All Registrations will close on April 23, 2018 – register early as tournament team spots are limited. 
  • The tournament teams will be finalized on or before May 7, 2018. 
  • If you are not selected for a tournament team any registration fees paid will be fully refunded. All club team members were provided tournament team spots in 2017.

*Stillwater Minnesota Select Summer Program Team Members have included 12 US Lacrosse All-Americans, 3 Pioneer Press Minnesota Player of the Year, 11 MSHSL State Tournament All-Tournament Team Members, 39 All-State Team members, 61 S.E.C All-Conference Team Members, 53 S.E.C. All-Conference Honorable Mention Team Members and multiple NCAA DI, DII, DIII and College Club Team Members. Stillwater Area High School Girls’ Lacrosse Team has won 9 consecutive Suburban East Conference Championships and 7 consecutive Section 4 Championships.
